Overview
On our first trip with Veggie Van Gogh, we pulled a tiny, 1000kg (2200 pounds) Scamp travel trailer over the Coast Range of Oregon to do a festival in Lincoln City. 50 kph (30 mph) uphills made it very clear that Veggie Van Gogh's trailer pulling days were over!

Bunk
For our second ever Veggie Van Gogh trip, we decided to ditch the trailer, and put an inflatable air mattress on the floor. That was miserable, and a lot of work. One person couldn't stay in bed while the other one cooked breakfast! So we went back to the drawing board, and built a movable bunk over the driver/passenger area.
Head
Featuring a unique two-storey design, I implemented Carol's suggestion that the cats and humans have an upstairs-downstairs relationship with their personal waste disposal facilities.
Lighting
It was important to have adequate brightness to find stuff and do detailed work, and to not hurt ourselves while loading or unloading in the dark. But it was also important to make the best use of energy, since we'd be living off solar panels at times.
Storage
Storage space was assembled before our first festival trip, unlike the living space. It needed to be organized, clean, and secure.
