Clutching Tree
Description:
Sometimes, it's tough letting go.
The tree, obviously long fallen and dead, continues to grasp the rock as if saying, "I wasn't ready to go!"
Yet Oregon's Crater Lake, dusted with the pollen of young trees celebrating life, seems to reply, "Oh, just get on with it!"
Sometimes when I'm clutching at something that needs to be let go, I think of this tree and the lake.
