Starry Tower
Description:
We arrive at Devil’s Tower well after midnight, after driving straight from Michigan. Although dead tired, I can’t resist, and head out on the trail to find my vantage point.
Wanting a good arc on the stars for the 30 minute exposure, I struggle with my memory and terrain to find a location that is both fairly open, and facing somewhat north.
This is one of the most fascinating obelisks in the world, and I can’t cross the country without stopping by yet again!
